Community Guidelines

ME3T puts three strangers at a table and asks them to be useful to each other. That only works if everyone arrives in good faith. These are the rules, and they are part of the Terms of Use.

What we expect

Be who you say you are. Real name, real role, real company. The match is built out of your profile — inflate it and the two people across the table paid for it.
Show up. Accepting a ME3T is a commitment to two other people who rearranged something. If you can't make it, say so early.
Come to give, not only to get. The best ME3Ts are the ones where somebody offered something before they asked for anything.
Treat what you learn as borrowed. What someone tells you at a ME3T is for you, not for your CRM, your newsletter, or your feed.
Assume the third person matters. Two people talking past the third is the one failure mode this format has. Don't be the pair.

What gets you removed

Harassment, intimidation, threats, or stalking — in the app or after the meeting.
Hate or discrimination on any basis: race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation.
Treating a ME3T as a date. Unwanted sexual attention, comments about someone's body, or advances after a no.
Spam, cold pitching, unsolicited recruiting, chain messages, multi-level marketing, crypto or investment solicitation.
Scraping, exporting, or bulk-collecting member information — by hand or by machine. Member data is not a lead list, and treating it as one ends the account.
Impersonating another person, a company, or ME3T itself.
Sharing someone's contact details, photo, or what they said, outside the ME3T, without their say-so.
Sexual content, graphic violence, or anything illegal — in a profile, a message, a photo, or a linked video.
Recording a meeting without telling everyone at it.
Anything that endangers a member in the room the app put them in.

Zero tolerance means zero tolerance: threats, sexual harassment, and anything involving a minor end an account immediately, without a warning and without waiting for a second opinion.

Reporting someone

Every revealed ME3T carries the controls, next to each member's name:

Report — tell us what happened in your own words. It goes straight to the organizer of your community, marked open, with who, when, and which ME3T it was about. Nothing is sent to the person you reported, and they are never told who reported them.
Block — takes effect at once. The matching engine will never seat the two of you together again, in any mode, in any city. You do not need a reason and nobody is notified.

Blocking and reporting are separate on purpose. Blocking is a decision you make about your own experience and needs no justification. Reporting asks us to do something about someone else's.

What happens after you report

The report appears immediately on the organizer's dashboard, and open reports are counted where they can't be missed.
An organizer reviews it — normally within two business days — and can suspend or remove the member from their community.
Anything involving safety, threats, or a minor is escalated to GLOBL and handled at the platform level, not left with the community.
The report is kept as a record. A safety history that can be erased by deleting an account isn't one, so reports survive the accounts they were about.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number first. We are an app; they are the police.

Stepping back without leaving

You do not have to choose between being matched and being here. Set yourself to Invisible and you enter no matching pool and receive no proposals, while your profile and history stay yours. Turn it back on whenever you want. Leaving a community, or deleting your account entirely, is on Your Data.

Meeting safely

Meet somewhere public the first time. Every venue ME3T suggests is one.
Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back.
Arrange your own transport, both ways.
Nobody at ME3T is background-checked, us included. An introduction is not a vouch.
Leave if it feels wrong. You owe a stranger nothing, and you never have to explain it to us.

How we enforce this

Depending on what happened: a warning, removal of content, removal from a community, or removal from ME3T entirely. We take into account what was done, whether it was aimed at someone, and whether it happened before.

Think we got it wrong? Reply to the decision, or email privacy@me3t.app. Someone who was not part of the original decision will look at it again.
